School Psychology

This test is administered to individuals aged (3-75) years and is used to:

  1. Personality and Behavioral Problems Scale for Children and Adolescents

This test is administered to individuals aged (3-18) years and is used to:

  • Identify behavioral problems associated with developmental or psychological disorders.

3. Adaptive Behavior Scales

This test is administered to individuals aged (1-70) years and is used to:

  • Determine strengths and weaknesses in adaptive skills.

  • Determine the degree of support needed in practical, social, conceptual and motor field.

  • Identify the growth path and skills that a student lacks according to his/her peers of the same age

  • Raise awareness about the value of the child's exposure to diverse experiences.

  • Identify children with less adaptive skills in comparison with their peers, especially self-care, health, safety, expressive and receptive skills.

  • Alert the family to the existence to a defect in the child's adaptive skills, which negatively affect the child's academic achievement and his/her relationship with his/her peers in school, noting the possibility that the defect may be resulted of behavioral problems or mental disorders.

  • It is used at the beginning of each academic stage, such as Primary one, preparatory one, and secondary one, to determine whether the individual has the needed adaptive requirements for this academic stage or not.

4. Career Interests Test:

Career interests test is used to help students and teachers to determine and understand their career interests. The test provides a detailed description that helps students to determine their goals and start their research to find a consistency between their interests and their future career. In Addition, the extracted report from scoring and interpretation software includes a large number of professions that agree with the individual's tendencies, and a set of recommendations to help in the process of choosing a career.

5. Emotional Competence Test

This test is administered to individuals aged (16-80). It helps adolescents and adults to understand themselves and know about their behavior, their interaction with others and identify their strengths and weaknesses. It helps them in the process of taking critical decisions. An individual can administer this questionnaire to himself/herself or to another person, which helps the individual to know how he/she sees himself/herself and how others see him/her or how he/she sees others. Therefore, it is useful for institutions, especially when the staff is required to assess someone in the school.  

    Numerous research studies have shown that emotional competence significantly affects interactive competency and the ability to perform tasks. Individuals who show high levels of emotional competence have high ability to understand themselves and others. These individuals also have great ability to make critical decisions and express their opinions. Also, they were able to effectively control their feelings and they have the sufficient enthusiasm, energy, and optimism that enable them to achieve success. In addition, they have the ability to respond to personal and institutional interactions and to be courteous to others with diplomacy and ingenuity. So they have great ability to adapt to complex environments. These individuals are experts in identifying the emotions of their colleagues at work or school, clients, supervisors or teachers and deal with them appropriately. Researches indicate that there is a significant correlation between emotional competence and mental happiness indicators, which include positive and negative emotional states of the individuals, satisfaction with life, and satisfaction in work and study. Students with high emotional intelligence were more skilled at motivating others, achieving their goals and objectives, and performing their tasks. They were more socially influential than others in many areas. They have the ability to do several tasks without discarding the order of priority. These students have the ability to solve problems and deal with the situation in new and innovative manner and they prefer to work with colleagues.

    Recent researches have shown that the inclusion of emotional competence in the educational process will have a significant impact on the educational system as a whole. It also makes emotional and social changes within the classroom and contributes to strengthening the spirit de crops within the school. Additionally, it reduces the level of violence and abuse among the youth. Emotional competence is also significantly related to academic performance.

Personality Traits Test

    The personality traits test is administered to the age of 13 to 80 years. This test provides information related to the basic dimensions of personality. The personality traits test is used in clinical and career assessment and this helps the institutions to put the right person in the right place. Also, it helps in the process of planning and continuous development of the staff. Generally, it is useful in making individuals understand themselves, know their behavior, interact with others and identify their strengths and weaknesses, which helps them in the decision-making process. Abbreviated Intelligence Scale

    The abbreviated intelligence scale is a cross-cultural scale for measuring cognitive abilities and is used in quick screening. The scale can be administered to individuals aged 3 to 80 years. Intelligence tests play a significant role in predicting the performance on school and work. Research and practical experience have shown that intelligence or general mental ability is a good indicator of success, where intelligence explains 30% to 70% of the variation in performance. For decades, schools have used intelligence tests to identify gifted students and students with learning problems. Many psychological studies support the relationship between high IQ and performance on work. As a result, employers use these tests to determine the best candidates.

Autism Assessment Battery

    Autism assessment battery is administered to the age of 2 years to 13 years. The battery is used individually to assess children suspected of having autism and help in:

  • Identify children with autism.

  • Provide the necessary information to prepare the educational plan.

  • Follow-up the development in the treatment plan or analysis of the progress.

  • Used as a research tool.

Autism Rating Scale

    The autism rating scale is administered to the age of 2 years up to 13 years and is prepared according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM5). It consists of two main parts: interaction and social communication, and restricted and repetitive behaviors and based on both them the likelihood of autism is determined. The scale features are:

  •   Helps psychologists and educators to make diagnostic decisions according to the criterions of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM5).

  • Helps to determine the severity of deficiencies in communication and social interaction.

  • Helps to determine the severity of deficiencies in restricted and repetitive behaviors.

  • Helps to follow-up intervention programs.

 

Multiple Intelligences Test

    The multiple intelligences test measures 10 key areas that help the psychologist to identify types of intelligences within the class. Also help to better understand students and distinguish between their different abilities to understand information. It helps in explaining some behaviors clearly.

 

Social Skills Test

The Social Skills Test is administered to the age of 16 years to 80 years. The Social Skills Test provides information related to the basic dimensions of social skills that we use to interact with others. These skills include verbal and nonverbal skills. Almost all jobs require social skills. If the individual works in a team, he will need the social skills to be able to communicate with them and maintain this communication without underestimating himself or others. If the individual works as a manager, he will need the skill to motivate the staff.

    The social skills test includes nonverbal communication empathy, social interaction, cooperation, participation, positive self-assertive, aggressive self-assertive, social savvy, self-discipline, verbal communication, social flexibility, anger management, self-confidence, self-esteem, social acumen, organizational skills and time management

 

Styles of Learning Test

This test is administered to the age of 13 and above. The test provides information about the students' learning styles and the best ways to deliver the information to them and the most appropriate ways for them to acquire information. It is useful in making the teacher know the most appropriate ways to deliver information to students and how to deal with the different ways of processing information among the students.

Neuropsychological and learning disability assessment battery

    The neuropsychological and learning disability assessment battery is administered to children starting from age 3 and above and assess the neurological disorders and brain injuries. The battery identifies the brain dysfunction in motor, sensory, visual, memory, language, executive functions, and visual spatial process domains. This battery is useful in evaluating neurodevelopmental disorders such as learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and general brain injury. The battery's role is not limited to diagnosis alone, it also assists in the rehabilitation process, developing intervention plan and follow it up. The battery helps in:

 

·        Early detection for neuropsychological dysfunction.

Learning disability program

The program is administered starting from age 4 to children who are suspected to have learning disability. The program deals with academic and cognitive deficiency and focuses mainly on the executive functions, working memory, fluid reasoning, mental flexibility and improving the frontal lobe functions in general. 

Cognitive Abilities Development Program

The Cognitive abilities development program administer to ages from 2 years to 70 years. This program established according to recent research on cognitive abilities. It aims to improve the basic cognitive abilities such as attention, working memory, executive functions, short-term and long-term memory, fluid reasoning, spatial visual processing and quantitative reasoning.

Extensive intervention system for children with Autism spectrum disorder

Extensive intervention system for children with Autism spectrum disorder is an extensive program that includes most of the modern methods that were proved to be efficient in the treatment of autism. The intervention program is applied in school and home. This program combines the advantages of applied behavior analysis method, Son-Rise method, floortime method, and verbal behavior method.
